Re-read the texts in Activity 1. Identify the main idea or topic of the announcement and write down the details of each text in the table below!

In writing the details, pay close attention to:

• Who wrote the announcement?
• When was the announcement released?
• Who is the announcement for?
• Details of place, date and time

ACTIVITY 4

Individually, think of an issue happening in your school. Create an imaginary event or activity in response to the issue and make an announcement for it using scraps of an old magazine!

In your announcement, remember to put:

• Opening (Title)
• Content: Information of the event, time, date and place.
• Closing: contact person or sign from the authority.

Your creativity will also be put into consideration for your overall score, so try to be as creative as possible!
